Daisy grew up in Manchester and went to university in Scotland, so she has been teaching us all about the culture of these places.&nbsp; Activities have included writing a love poem to our favourite dish in imitation of Robert Burns\u2019 \u2018Address to a Haggis,\u2019 picture dictation based on Charles Rennie Mackintosh\u2019s artwork and inventing our own coat of arms inspired by Manchester\u2019s bee symbol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Daisy also works with two year 9 classes, helping them to improve their fluency through games and interactive tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each week the British international section pupils look forward to their lesson with Daisy, our language assistant.
